Jon shares his non-technical founder perspective and lessons learned. We cover what it takes to jump into a high-tech business when all you know is non-technical things. Jon provides advice to founders on finding and hiring a CTO; and outsourcing development to a software company; product development; raising money; building a network; dealing with investors/angels; selecting advisors and much more.
Jon served within the infantry umbrella in the Marine Corps from 2006 to 2010, where he grew to become a team leader, then squad leader, and ultimately led over 50 combat operations in Iraq over multiple deployments. He later founded Forever Fit A.A.A., a successful, elite personal training business for post-surgery professional athlete rehabilitation. In his free time, Jon won the 2011 California Natural Bodybuilding Championship and placed second in the 2014 Musclemania Worlds competition in the “Natural” category. He transitioned his entrepreneurial endeavors into the tech startup space in 2016 by founding iNK Digital Networking, an event networking and relationship management platform, for which he raised $300k and grew to over 5,000 users and 15 national organizations.
